Celebrating the Platinum Wedding Anniversary of HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh 20th November 2017. A double fronted shop - The Royal Book Shop and Myrtle's Wedding Cakes. The number 70 representing their 70 years of marriage. The street name was inspired by the maker of the Queen's wedding dress, Sir Norman Hartnell. The clock shows 11.30, the time of the marriage at Westminster Abbey. The name of the cake shop was inspired by the fact that in every Royal Wedding bouquet since Queen Victoria's wedding, there's been a sprig of Myrtle taken from a bush at Osbourne House, Queen Victoria's residence on the Isle of Wight. The Royal Book Shop windows are full of books on Royal life from horses to Windsor Castle and a beloved Corgi waits patiently outside the shop.
